Pluralia: Journal of Religion and Society is published by ASAI: Indonesian Association of Religious Studies. The journal’s operational costs are supported by the publisher and/or organizational support.

Business Model

  • The journal does not charge submission fees.
  • The journal does not charge article processing charges.
  • The journal does not charge publication fees.
  • The journal provides immediate open access to published articles.
  • The journal may receive institutional or organizational support from the publisher.

Editorial Independence

Revenue sources, organizational support, sponsorship, or any form of financial support shall not influence editorial decisions. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly quality, originality, relevance, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field.

Advertising Policy

Pluralia: Journal of Religion and Society does not currently accept commercial advertising on its website or in its published articles.

If the journal decides to accept advertising in the future, all advertisements will be clearly distinguished from editorial content. Advertising decisions will be made independently from editorial decisions and will not influence manuscript submission, peer review, editorial evaluation, acceptance, rejection, or publication.

Separation from Editorial Content

Advertisements, if any, will not be linked to editorial decisions, article content, peer-review outcomes, or reader behavior. The journal will ensure that advertisements do not mislead readers or authors, nor compromise the journal's academic integrity.

Direct Marketing Policy

Pluralia: Journal of Religion and Society may conduct direct marketing activities, including calls for papers, invitations to submit manuscripts, and announcements of publication opportunities. All direct marketing activities are conducted in a truthful, appropriate, targeted, and unobtrusive manner.

Marketing Principles

  • Information about the journal, publisher, indexing status, editorial process, peer review, fees, and publication schedule must be accurate and not misleading.
  • The journal does not guarantee manuscript acceptance.
  • The journal does not use aggressive, coercive, or deceptive solicitation practices.
  • Calls for papers are distributed to relevant academic communities and potential authors whose research areas align with the journal’s focus and scope.
  • Any claim regarding indexing, impact, metrics, or publication status will only be made after official confirmation.

Editorial Independence

Direct marketing activities do not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts received through direct invitations or calls for papers are subject to the same editorial screening, peer-review process, ethical standards, and publication criteria as all other submissions.
